Sam Foti is the President and Chief Operating Officer of the MONY Group since 1994. He is often credited for turning the company around and integrating Information Technology services into the core business model of the company. He was also instrumental in the merger of the MONY Group with AXA Financial in 2004.

Samuel J. Foti joined the company in 1988 as the National Director of Agency Operations. He achieved the distinction of being the COO of the company in a period of six years by dint of his hard work. His contributions during this time include the revamping of the MONY Group’s business model and introducing new insurance underwriting standards. His position as a Chartered Life Underwriter since 1977 helped him in this regard.

 Samuel Foti  also oversees the performance of subsidiaries that do not work in the insurance industry. He manages the performances of Enterprise Capital Management and MONY’s international subsidiaries. Enterprise Capital was actually his idea to expand the company’s business into other fields of financial industry. This is in addition to his primary role at the MONY’s where he oversees the financial and investment portfolios of the company and administrative procedures.
